- Introduce slices of ginger and crushed garlic to the pot, immersing them in the stock for an infusion of robust flavours.
- Enhance the stock by incorporating spring onion greens, coarsely chopped green chillies, a hint of light soy sauce, a dash of sugar, and a splash of vinegar.
- Allow the mixture to reach a boil before reducing the heat to a simmer, letting it steep for 15-20 minutes to fully extract the flavours.
- Following simmering, strain the aromatic stock into a separate pot, retaining only the flavoured liquid.

- Pour the hot vegetable soup over the wontons, ensuring a balanced distribution of veggies in each bowl.
- Adorn your creation with a garnish of fresh spring onion greens for an extra crunch and aesthetic appeal.
- Serve your delectable Vegetable Wonton Soup hot, with a side of soy chilli for an added kick.
Pro Tip: For an even more vibrant flavor, consider using homemade vegetable stock instead of water. The rich flavor and nutrients from the vegetables will add an extra depth to your soup, making it even more satisfying.
